Nepal Tibet Bhutan tour is a very stimulating tour that takes you on an excursion to three of the most beautiful Asian countries - Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan. The tour takes you on a trip to various cities of Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan. You will first arrive in Paro, Bhutan and head for spectacular tours of some of the most revered places in Bhutan. Next, you will head to Nepal and then Tibet. The tour covers all the important sites in all three countries.

The trip starts in Kathmandu,  where we visit several UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Pashupatinath, the renowned 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath), and one of the largest stupas in the world-Bouddhanath. We then drive to Nagarkot, a village renowned for its sunrise and sunset views over the Himalayas.We then drive to Chitwan to experience exotic wildlife and indigenous cultures of deep jungles of Chitwan.  After that, we also visit Pokhara, also known as backpacker’s paradise where we go on a boat ride in the famous lake enjoying views of the Annapurna Range. We also head start early to catch the sun rising under and above the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges at Sarangot which is famous for magnificent view of the sun rising over the great Himalayas. After Nepal, we head to Tibet.

In Bhutan,  where we visit several dzongs (fortresses), temples, and other cultural and historical landmarks. We also pass through the high Dochu La pass and hike to the enchanting Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) Monastery.  We also visit historical landmarks such as King’s Memorial Chorten, the majestic Tashichho Dzong,Taktsang or the Tiger’s Nest and many more. After Bhutan we head for Nepal.

In Tibet, we go on a sigh seeing adventure in Lhasa where we visit the Potala and Norbulingka palaces, the Tibet Traditional Hospital, Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor bazaar and many more.

Itineraries

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m)

Once you land at the Tribhuwan International Airport, our representative will pick you and drop you off at the hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Today,  we will go on sightseeing tour of some of the most famous attractions that are even included in the list of World Heritage Sites. Witness the brilliant Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the holy Hindu temple of Pashupatinath,the renowned 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath), and one of the largest stupas in the world-Bouddhanath. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan: 150km, 5 – 6 hours

Chitwan is known for the Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the first national park in Nepal. There we’ll enjoy either an adventurous jungle safari or a calming nature walkaccording to our arrival time. Chitwanhas many exotic birds and animals, so if lucky you could spot thespotted deer, the rare one-horn rhinoceros, and the elusive Bengal Tiger. Overnight in Chitwan.

Day 04: Chitwan National Park

Here, you have an option of going on a jungle safari on elephant backs. We will also visit to the elephant stables and bath the elephants as well. Next, we’ll ride into the jungle and have a canoe ride down the Rapti River. The boat ride is sure to give you sights of Gharial and Mugger crocodiles and maybe even fresh water dolphins, otters and different water birds. We might spend some time bird watching, too. Overnight in Chitwan.

Day 05: Drive to Pokhara (910m/2986ft): 200km, 5 - 6 hours

Pokhara is a backpacker’s paradise. It has the mountain views, beautiful lakes, and everything you’d wish for after a tiring trip in the mountains. Even if you haven’t gone for the tiring treks, Pokhara is enjoyable none the less. It offers beautiful views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, the Annapurna rangeand other giants. Once at Pokhara we visitDavis Falls, a unique waterfall, and Shiva Cave, a shrine dedicated for Lord Shiva. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 06: Drive to Sarangkot Hill, and Fly to Kathmandu

Sarangot is famous for the magnificent view of the sun rising under and above the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. We start early to witness that spectacular sight, after which we descend to the Few Lake for a boat ride. We then visit Bindyabasini Temple which is situated at the center of the Lake. We fly back to Kathmandu in the afternoon. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 07 : Fly from Kathmandu to Paro – Bhutan and drive to Thimpu

Once you arrive, we will have you picked up and hop on for a 2 hours’ drive to Thimpu. Our representative will give you a brief about the tour program. Overnight at Thimpu.

Day 08: Thimpu: sightseeing

We first make a visit to the Memorial Chorten of the Late King Jigme DorjeeWangchuk in the heart of Thimpu town and then the famous monastery- The Tashichhodzong, also known as ‘The fortress of the auspicious Religion’ after that visit Buddha Park. We then visit the Handicraft Development Corporation which displays all kinds of traditional handicraft products of Bhutan. Overnight at Thimpu.

Day 09: Thimphu to Punakha (1,250m/4,100ft): 76 km, 2 - 3 hours

Today we go on scenic and short drive from Thimpu to Punakha. En route we stop at the Dochu La Pass (3,100m) where the views of the Himalayas is really beautiful. We then head towards the Punakha Dzong which was built in the 17th century and is the second oldest and second largest dzong in Bhutan. Overnight in Punakha.

Day 10: Drive from Punakha to Paro

We start our journey to Paro after breakfast. On the way, we stop at Simtokha Dzong & oldest temple in Bhutan which are a very significant holy site in Bhutan. We will also explore other famous sites in Paro like the National Museum. Overnight at Paro.

Day 11: Hike to Tiger’s Nest and back to Paro

We start early for a hike to Paro Taktsang or the Tiger’s Nest which is a significant Buddhist sacred site in Bhutan. It is located on a cliff side on the upper Paro valley. After the visit, we will head back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Fly from Paro to Kathmandu

We catch an early morning flight to Kathmandu. On reaching Kathmandu, our representative will pick up some more sightseeing. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 13: Fly to Lhasa (3,650m/11,972ft)

Once at Lhasa you will be greeted by our representative. It is advised to take ample rest to acclimatize to the altitude. Overnight in Lhasa.

Day 14: Sightseeing in Lhasa: Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace and Tibet Traditional Hospital: 5 - 6 hours

We will pay our visit to the historical Potala and Norbulingka Palaces. And after this we stop at thefamous Traditional Hospital of Lhasa, where research and production of ancient Tibetan medicine is done. Overnight in Lhasa.

Day 15: Sightseeing in Lhasa: Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar: 5 - 6 hours

Today we visit the Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar. The Drepung Monastery was built in the 14thcentury is home to all the facets of the Tibetan culture, history and traditions.  We will observe their unique history, architecture and importance which we will observe in today’s tour. Later, we’ll spend some time at the Barkhor Bazaar which is a famous site in Lhasa. Overnight in Lhasa.

Day 16: Final departure

It’s time to bid farewell! Our representative will escort you to the airport three hours before the scheduled flight for your way back home or the next destination.

How to Book

  • The trip can be booked online using book now tab
  • 40% deposit should be paid at the time of booking
  • 60% Should be paid prior 3 weeks of the trip departure
  • All participant passport copies should be sent in advance
  • The trip booking is accepted and becomes definite only from the date when the Company sends a confirmation invoice or email. It is at this point that a contract between the Company and the Client comes into existence.

Cancellation

  • Any cancellation by a Client must be made in writing and acknowledged by the Company
  • Free cancellation up to 30 days prior departure, after which the deposit becomes non-refundable.
