Terms & Condition

Please take the time to read and understand the booking conditions below before booking.

 

HOLIDAYS


Reservation


1) Once a booking request is received, one of the many experienced travel consultants at TravelSewa will confirm the trip within 24 hours.

2) Your reservation is secured once we receive a deposit. Multi-day tours require a deposit of 40% whereas day tours require a 100% deposit. Note, when it comes to larger groups, the deposit will be of higher amount depending on the suppliers’ fees, such as hotels, airlines etc.

3) You will receive a booking voucher after the booking is confirmed. You must present the voucher at the time of tour briefing.

 

Payment


We offer 2 payment methods:

1) Online Payment by Credit card 
2) Wire transfer (bank transfer)

Please note:


1) The trip amount can be paid online or through bank transfer.

2) Any bank charges levied by bank during the transferring process of your payment must be taken care of by yourself.

 

Trip Cancellation (Nepal)


  • If in any case you wish to cancel your tour, you must submit a cancellation request in writing. Charges will be calculated from the date we receive your written cancellation.
  • Free cancellation period prior to departure is up to 15 days, the deposit becomes non-refundable after the 30 day period.
  • In case of early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours, we won’t be able to refund any amount for unused services once the trip commences. This may include but is not limited to hotel bookings, transportation, tickets, admission fees, etc.


Trip Cancellation (Bhutan)

  • Free cancellation period prior to departure is up to 30 days, the deposit becomes non-refundable after the 30 day period.

 

Trip Cancellation (Tibet)

  • Free cancellation period prior to departure is up to 30 days, the deposit becomes non-refundable after the 30 day period.


Travel Insurance


All customers are obliged to be fully insured for the full duration of the tour in respect of illness, emergency evacuation, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, cancellation and curtailment. The choice of insurer is the sole discretion of the client.

 

Passports & Visas


In order to enter Nepal, except for citizens of India and China, visitors must carry a 06 months valid passport. The Passport and Visa processing costs aren’t included in the tour cost. You will easily obtain your Nepal Entry visa upon arrival in Kathmandu airport or can get from the consulate of Nepal in your country. The Tibet and Bhutan entry visa will be managed by TravelSewa.com

 

Early Check-in / Late Check-out


The standard Check-in / Check-out time is 1200 Hrs. (IST) for most hotels. The cost of early check-in or late check-out is not included in the tour cost. A request for early check-in or late checkout can be made if necessary but it’s completely dependent on various factors such as hotel policy, time of the year and availability of room. Thus, we cannot guarantee that.

 

Rights to amend the itinerary if required


The finalized itinerary will be strictly followed once the tour commences. We will only amend the itinerary in cases of events, situations or circumstances beyond our control. Note that, in such cases, we reserve the right to change some or the entirecontent of the itinerary for the safety and wellbeing of our esteemed customers.

 

FLIGHT


Booking Policy

  • All applicable government taxes are included in the total price displayed on site.
  • The entire amount must be paid prior to the confirmation of your booking.
  • We will not provide refund for 'no-shows' or any partially unused flights.
  • Customers must pay the infant fare/charge at the time of check-in.
  • Infants must be accompanied by an adult of at least 18 years of age.
  • All Tickets/Bookings issued to the customer are to be governed according to the terms and conditions of the respective Airlines/ supplier.
  • It is highly advised for a customer to go through airlines terms and conditions before booking any ticket.
  • When a customer accepts our booking terms, they also agree to terms & conditions of the respective airline as well.
  • Seats are subject to availability.
  • Flight schedules and timings are subject to regulatory approvals and change(s).

 

Check-in:

  • For domestic flights, standard check-in time starts 2 hours prior to departure.
  • For international flights,the check-in time starts 3 hours prior to departure.
  • Customers with infants must carry valid proof-of-age document(s)to prove the infant is less than two years old.

 

Cancellation Policy:

  • Every booking made on TravelSewa is subject to cancellation charges charged by the airline, which may vary by flight and booking class.
  • Some booked fares may be non-refundable per the specific airline's policy. There will no refund in such cases.
  • All cancellations must be made at least 48 hours (2 days) prior to departure date. Certain airline companies won’t allow any changes or cancellation within 48 hours and treat the booking as a "No Show".

 

Refunds:

  • Customers are must contact TravelSewa for all refunds. Airline companies can’t refund tickets booked through TravelSewa.
  • The processing period for refund and cancellation requests vary and mostly take up to 5 to 7 days.
  • Refund for partially utilized tickets (only one sector flown & other cancelled) can take up to a minimum of 25 to 30 working days to 6 months depending on the Airline.

 

CAR RENTAL


Booking Policy

  • Car rental charges must be paid in advance online.
  • Gender, nationality, the number of passengers travelling must be mentioned.
  • The vehicle (car or jeep) shall be provided based on the customer’s request.
  • Lessor is not liable for disappearance or damage to any property left, stored or transported by renter or other persons, in or on the vehicle, either before or after it has been returned to lessor.

 

Cancellation:

  • If you cancel 15 days or more prior to pick-up time:
    - You receive a 100% refund.
  • If you cancel 14 days before prior to pick-up time:
    - You must pay 20% of the total i.e. you receive an 80% refund.
  • If you cancel 48 hoursprior to pick-up time:
    - You pay 80% of the total or i.e. you receive an 20% refund.
