The Champadevi hiking is a quick and easy one-day hiking trip that mixes culture and traditions with beautiful scenic views of the great Himalayas. Champa Devi hill (2278m) is the third highest hill surrounding the Kathmandu Valley. The trail to the top of this hill will leave you with unforgettable memories. This is an easy trek and anyone with an average level of fitness can do this trek. Moreover, even families with kids or elderly can easily take this beautiful trek.

Itinerary

Drive to Bhanjyang: The trek starts at Bhanjyang which is approximately 45 minutes away from Thamel.

Trek to Champa Devi: It can take up to 3 to 4 hours to reach the top.The duration depends on the number of rests you take.

You can find the Champa Devi Shrine at the top along with a small Buddhist monastery. The return route lies on the other side of the hill. Your trail ends at the small village of MaccheGau.
